Either Truls Moregard will be the 4th Non Chinese Player and 2nd Swedish Player to win the Gold Medal in Olympics OR Fan Zhendong completing the Grand Slam in Table Tennis!!!

Sweden seems to have a secret formula that peaks performance in the World Championship and Olympics. In recent years, they have 1. Finalist in Singles WC 2019, 2. Finalist in Singles WC 2021, 3. Winners in Doubles in WC 2021, and now 4) at least a finalist in Olympics in 2024. If you go further back, Persson and Waldner (past their prime) made Semi-finals in Olympics in 2004 and 2008 respectively. Not bad for a small country....

Moregard plays extremely well in big What a big game player. He is currently the last European player to reach the WTTC in 2021 and Olympic men single final in 2024 .Nobody can do that except for moregard.All I want to say is that moregard does’t give a shit about regular matches, so his ranking is not that high .Hopefully he can beat FZD tmr🎉🎉🎉

Is Hugo sick? I heard him coughing during a few rounds during the Olympics. I felt like he missed the opportunity on the first set, he was leading so much and still lost that crucial set. Might have unconscious impact on his mental after losing the first 2 sets by so close...
