I hat to reset my VIZIO back to original factory defaults. The soft reset works to make my sound bar work, but I have to do it every time I turned on the TV.
The newest update from Vizio was causing a new problem with my other HDMI devices. Can't turn the TV on with ROKU, Firestick, media player or other device.
So reverting to original factory store-bought setting seems to make it work, but I have to disable wifi to prevent rogue updates again.

It won’t even let my open up the menu. All I can do is use the arrow buttons to move around on the SmartCast screen, I can’t select anything, I can’t change input or volume. It’s basically bricked I’ve unplugged it countless times

Im never getting this dumb ass branded tv again a tv should never be that complicated to update i did all the steps and my tv is still at The 4.30 version instead or the .70 i tried to update this tv over ten times and still doesn’t update im even connected to my wifi so it dont make sense to my why my tv isn’t update this is the worsest tv EVER! Bought and is a waste of money when it turns off on itself it hard to make it come back on i have unplugged then replug the plug in which is stupid asl and i still got the same result this tv will definitely be thrown in the garbage or sold at pawn shop cause dats how garbage this tv is

When I turn my TV on it sounds like it’s in slow motion I turn it off and then ride back on it fixes the problem

Everything on mine works, EXCEPT I cannot get the "clock" to show the right time. It's showing EASTERN time, but I live in CENTRAL time...how can I change that???

We live out in the country and the only internet we have is with our verizon wireless Android smartphones, can we pair our smartphone to the tv and do a firmware update that way?

Vizio is pure trash. First 70 inch tv arrived with 3 CD 💿 shape shadows in the middle of the screen, second tv doesn't update.
And can't open apps, not even firestick is working
