APU's have not evolved 'enough' to play games, but the evolution is still pretty much legendary. Back in 2010, it was impossible to imagine playing World of Tanks smoothly at 1080p with medium settings on an integrated graphics processing unit. Anyway, I use the MSI Modern laptop having 5500u, and all I can say is that it's a decent 2D rendering processor at the very best. Works well for photo editing or video editing, even in Premiere Pro if you have at least 16 GB RAM. For a decent gaming experience, you do require a dedicated GPU. AND most importantly, use high-frequency dual channel dual rank RAM. There is a big, BIG difference if you allow two-way, double-data flow lanes and queue rack on your memory units when AMD is your processor. It takes full advantage of the improved memory architecture!

Using hp-14s with same processor for Android development for a month now and works well .never tried gaming so don't know about it but for programming purpose it is best in the price range
