Power Book II: Ghost Season 2 Episode 2 'JUKEBOX & EFFIE' | Ghost & Mecca Power Easter Eggs

Power Book 2 Ghost Season 2 Episode 2 not only laid the foundation for the rest of the season. They gave us quite a few different Easter Eggs with one of the main ones being the resemblance between Effie and Jukebox. I also discuss how Mecca's character has shown Ghost like traits and some more Ghost and Angela Easter Eggs as well as Tasha. I also talk about Cane Tejada's smart moves and how he was able to make his way and become second in command to Mecca. And lastly I touch on Dru's mistake and how he slipped up with Zeke, telling him about Tariq being behind course correct.

Mecca is the best character in book 2 easily imo he's bringing them original Power vibes which not many other characters in this show brings

Them making Effie look like juke is a straight tell. That’s the direction she’s headed. Yes, juke was as cold as they get, but sometimes there’s no telling how bad it can get. Effie might look sweet, but movie bot is right: she knows how to move weight and some other things. She’s a lot tougher than we’ve seen so far. I have a feeling she is really gonna light it up. Plus there is a lot we still don’t know about her.

It was nice when they played Can you stand the rain by New Edition during the car scene. Interesting how they used the song as Woody McClain who plays Cane played Bobby Brown in the New Edition Story.

Just a prediction, but I feel like Diana is going to fall in love with Effie this season while Effie is showing her how to balance school and the drug game. And Cane might find out about it and threaten to tell Monet but I feel like she knows Cane stole the product by the way she questioned Dru at the table and she can use that as leverage.

I guarantee Lauren graduates college and plays the same role as Angela did.. Watch lauren end up being a prosecuting attorney after this ethics class. Diana definitely will play the tasha role to tariq..

Effie isn’t the next jukebox, effie goes both ways and jukebox only like girls. Dru is the next jukebox, both dru and jukebox came from crime families and jukebox lost her lover over the drugs that was part of the game so dru lover everett will die because of something from the game. That’s why I feel like dru will be the next jukebox.
