While attributed to 18th century Venetian composer Tomasu Albinoni, this neo-Baroque composition originally written for strings and organ later came into its current form pieced together from elements of Albinoni's work(s) in the 20th century by Albinoni biographer and musicologist Remo Giazatto. (Wikipedia). While well over 90 percent of the music work I do could be characterized as jazz or popular, like many trombonists brought up through wind ensembles and the like, there's always been a yearning to keep those "legit chops" going.
