My 05 Impala has 370, 000 miles, it's raggedy but dependable, and yes, the air still works.

2013 malibu pushing 240, 000 miles..bought slightly service oil changes every 5-8, 000 miles. Chevy dealer says I take good care of the car. She still going strong. I think it really depends on how you keep up the maintenance that makes the car last just as long as you want

pretty frustrating seeing how amazing of a mechanic you are, but everyone that works on my cars just messes them up, or tries to pull every dime out of them as possible. Wish there were more like you. Great content Scotty.

I got a 2010 Impala LT 3.5L flex, 183k miles currently I bought it around 139k miles in 2019. Replaced hub assembly because wire was torn, so i replaced both. Change oil every 3-4k miles. No major repairs, runs great! Lots of trunk space.

I have 2001 suburban, 2500, 8.1L V8 vortec engine. Still runs great and it was manufactured in August 2000. 22 years later can't complain. Over the years, alternator, spark plugs, battery had to changed as expected. Oil change is done on time and to date love it. I wish newer cars were built this good.

Our Family owned a 2003 Impala and a 2007 Malibu both of them were driven up to 300, 000 miles when sold used, still running good with no major repairs. But they both had the bullet proof 3.8L V6. Amazingly enough, on the freeway they got 30 MPG or a little better. I am still driving our 1999 Silverado, (first year of the new body style), 3 door EXT CAB, 2500, 4 X 4 LS and it is coming up on 400, 000 miles, it still runs and tows like new. Scotty, I've watched your videos for many many years now and have used your advise for maintenance on vehicles which has paid off in the need to not have to purchase new vehicles every 2 or 3 years! Our Silverado was purchased in late 1998 and next year it will be "on the road" for 25 years. BTY, our Harley Davidson is a 1992 Fatboy and it's still "on the road" after 30 years. Keep up your great videos for the young people out there to learn "common sense" automotive maintenance.

Wow. I am almost three for three on this. I had a 2007 Impala. Bought it with 39k miles. I put 200, 000 on it and gave it to my sister 4 years ago. She is still driving it. I own a 97 Suburban and a 98 GMC 1500. Life is good.

I have a 2011 Impala LS With 237, 000 miles. Still runs good, have had the front wheel hub assembly replaced a few times and some sensors replaced other than that no major engine problems.

My friend used to have a 2000 Chevy Silverado that he had until it had 468k miles on it, he bought it brand new and put all the miles on it himself. The reason that he got rid of it was the transmission had broke down after already having been rebuilt once. The engine was still going strong though.

As a lifelong Ford guy, and a critic of most modern Chevies, The Impala is a wonderfully kept secret.

I’ve had two in the last ten years, both were amazing. Sadly, they are gone because one was wrecked, and the other I gave to a poor friend, she is still driving it six years later. 💪🏼😂

Scotty forgot to mention the 3800 V6. Those are among the best engines EVER manufactured in the history of the IC Engine.

We have a 01 GMC Yukon XL with 345, 000 miles. We sold it to our neighbor, they drove it for three years and sold it to the other neighbors. It’s been running around our neighborhood for 10 years now. 😂
