I feel you on being intimidated by the “nicer”/“prettier” books! I have a forever WIP going in my Fairy Miracles book one day it will get done haha! Love the Chibi Jade Summer books! If they come out with the Horror one in Grayscale ever I will most likely have it haha! Love the Mosaic Mandalas Color by number I have the one with the black backgrounds and I’m actually prettt close to finishing it which is exciting and sad at the same time haha! Love Kameliyas books as well now I want to pull out Nighttime mandalas and work in, there’s my plan for tomorrow 😜 Love the shimmery unicorn in the Selina Fenech book 🤩 Your mythomorphia pages look amazing with the watercolor, makes them seem less intimidating! My favorite page in it is definitely Medusa! She is sick in the best sense of the word! I can’t wait to see the rest of your books Dani! (Sorry for the looong comment I was typing as I watched!)

The person who did all the backgrounds with the acrylic wash in the Kerby book that you're thinking of is, I think is Dede Willingham :)

I love your relaxed, less stressful, pencil colouring. The intense blending that it seems *we should* do as adults scares me. I want colouring to be fun and relaxing, not a long drawn out laborious process that takes forever. Johanna Basford colours in a similar relaxed way, so it’s funny that you don’t like her books.
