Your new shoes are perfect. I too, love a pop of intense red, not just in fashion but also in interior design. We have a red stove in our kitchen and a red bbq on the deck. Clothing wise I have a bright red blazer and runners.

Ikea has, of have, had a scarf hanging contraption that I always find while thrifting. My favorite, as a visual person, to remember to wear my scarves. I have more than 100 and prefer the Italian and French silk ones and the ones from India, which I mostly have thrifted for 40+ years. I have also knitted some which can be useful in Winter. All your tips are real wisdom.

I love olive green but I realized forest green, with the dark vibrant green suits my complexion more. But that fitted vest one, stunning! a fitted vest or fitted bandeau over a shirt with tailored trousers and a silk neck scarf and ballet flats....yes.

I tell you, as a 71-year-old, that you will never regret having a collection of good belts. Etro is a great brand for tooled or embroidered leather and fantastic buckles. Sorry you can't have mine - but you may well find some on.vintage sites
