I need to do a oth edit like I have sm ideas but I'm too lazy😭lmk if you have any suggestions? I might do Haley & Nathan? For some reason the Polaroid border makes the edit sm better and the voiceovers worked so well with the scenes! Did you finish the series?

0:27 in bed smiling/laughing so hugely is SUCH a perfect choice for a moment of being heaven struck. :) And then the way she plopped backwards very flat onto that bare mattress for the first "down bad" was perfect, so perfect that I am so glad you ended up using it again for "might just not get up" later, the later in the scene aspect of her rolling more down into the mattress in a way, "more down" because her hand goes lower off the edge... lol. Just the vibe is so right!! Her face and everything there. I don't even remember the context of when that scene happens but it just works so so well!

And all the bouncy transitions fit the sound effects in the song SO well and then those next 3 "Crying at the gym" scenes just match the vibe SO well, especially the ones where she's in public so upset. I love how you capture some faces that are more resigned anger for the numb statement of "it would make no difference [if I was dead]". Also the "I'd rather feel nothing" voiceover works so well for this song as a whole!! Or when she's outside on the ground looking up at Lucas that works so well for "staring at the sky" because like I said looking "up" but also being "outside" where sky would be visible... just all the little details like that. Plus the protagonist of the song is staring towards the spaceship that abandoned her containing her lover so she kinda is begging the "sky" aka that guy to come back and pick her up and Lucas is literally offering his hand to pick her up... Just what she wants!! And you have some other great matches for Lucas picking her up too right after that all within the same lyric. All the transitions match the sounds of the song PERFECTLY. The spinning visually matches that sound, etc.

Oh and "waking up in blood" as like a discovery of just how bad your injuries are all at once after it's already happened actually works weirdly crazy well for her walking in and seeing Lucas and Peyton both in/on the same bed.

I loved so much about this edit! You get SO much into 1 minute of editing. I'm always so impressed.
