Still good basic info regardless of tariff changes. Advice: Watch this and videos like this to educate yourself on solar.  Its also good to study your bill and get to know it. Most will have PEAK and OFFPEAK usage tariffs on 2 separate meters.. Most of the time only hot water is connected to your offpeak and will not be connected to your solar. Also daily rates on peak and off peak are charges you cannot avoid. Its the cost of being connected.
