Chapter 01 - Introduction to DB2/400

This course discusses DB2/400, the database system on the AS/400 in detail. It describes the unique features of DB2/400, how to create and maintain database files, the various utilities that are available for working with files and how programming languages such as RPG/400 and CL/400 can be used to access and modify the database files. The course also discusses in detail the ways in which database integrity can be maintained on the AS/400.
