F1 2021 - 'Braking Point' First gameplay

Let's discover F1 2021 with this new story mode called "Braking Point"! (Note: this video contains spoilers of the first 2 chapters).
Here I'm playing on PC on a 21/9 (3440x1440) screen with all the graphics settings set on very high. It's the same graphics you should see on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Keep in mind I'm playing a pre-release version of the game and it still needs some patches and updates. Enjoy! :D

Nella beta ho notato che la fisica è cambiata molto secondo me, il bloccaggio è più facile e la trazione è migliorata rispetto a F1 2020. Anche i setup sono cambiati abbastanza, anche perché la nuova fisica è cambiata (almeno dall'esperienza che ho avuto nella beta).
In quanto all'' ERS è bloccato a standard e puoi usare la modalità sorpasso se modifichi le impostazioni (ho visto che hai messo su "auto"), la benzina è bloccata a standard perché lo è anche nella realtà da Spa 2020.
Anche la grafica è cambiata abbastanza rispetto al 2020, soprattutto la qualità dell'asfalto e dell'erba, tutt'altro livello.

Translation: In the beta i noticed that the physics changed a lot imo, locking is easier and the traction has improved compared to F1 2020. Setups too changed quite much, since also the new physics had changed (at least from my experience from the beta).
Talking about the ERS it is locked on standard and you can use the overtake if you modify the settings (i saw you putted on "auto"), fuel mix is locked on standrad since it is too irl since Spa 2020.
Also graphics has changed quite a lot compared to 2020, especially the asphalt and grass quality, another level.

i think its weird how your performance in the race doesnt seem to influence character interactions. you went on a 6 or 7 position tear (overtaking ur bitchy teammate and butler along the way) and then after the race your guy is moping around while butler heckles you after he got smoked on track. everything aside, thats the kind of thing that turns me away from stuff like this

I hope Braking Point is not all just these challenges; If it all goes well, I want to see our fellow Alden get recognized by actual F1 drivers as he goes through the season with multiple goals and multiple outcomes depending on how many of those goals are achieved.

F1 Braking Points seems like FIFA The Journey for me. The drama in the beginning two episodes are nonsense, somehow your teammate hate you just because he was the victim on the three side wheel to wheel battle and then next race he was crashing you without any puncture on both cars so you're able to push again to retake your position ahead your teammate. Devon Butler make it worse because his annoying personality is exaggerate.

I hope this year will be the first and last season of Braking Point on F1 story mode, personally i play F1 game for racing not to watch TV series with little drama.

Bruh this game is the only reason why ea has bought Codemasters to get that F1 license.

It doesn't let you change the Fuel Mix because in real life, they added the 'party mode' rule, where you can't change the engine mode all the time during races, though, it's still available to change for free practice/qualifying. For races, it is locked in Standard mix.
Edit: If you have low fuel, then you're allowed to use Lean mix, but any other time, you have to use Standard.
