i have the right now and the the pain literally travels throughout the whole side of ur face giving u the worst headache and h cant eat on on that side cause it’s sensitive. all u can do is taking pain pills to stop the throbbing!!

I had to have metal spacers/separators because my teeth were so tight 😣 Then I had an allergic reaction to them and so they were even more painful

I had those before I had my expander. I always swallowed them. My expander had the clear/ blue plastic part that went around my teeth

I’m half way done with my orthodontic treatment and I even had the SARPE surgery. THE SEPARATORS WERE THE MOST PAINFUL 😣

Okay everyone I have had these separated things and you barely feel them after like the next two days. It just feels like a popcorn kernel in between your teeth. It’s just to make room for the metal thing around your molar. And those don’t even hurt that bad. It just takes some getting used to.

I have the metal frames in and as gross as It sounds I get food stuck there and always end up with really bad tongue ache because I can’t get it out otherwise. I also find that they make frozen things taste quite metallic.
