I was told by my doctor in April that I have high cholesterol. My total cholesterol was at 203. I am male, 5’6”, and weighed 165 lbs. She told me in order to lower my numbers I had to cut out dairy, sugar, meat and any processed food.she all prescribed that I exercise 5 times a week. It was extremely difficult but throughout my journey I found Dr. Liu’s channel. It changed my life and the way I eat. I recently went back for another blood panel and my total cholesterol dropped to 130. I just wanted to say thank you for your videos they have changed the way I view food and the way I live my life.

I ingest most of these spices everyday. Sundays I cook a big batch of sauted vegetables sprinkled with all kinds of spices. I eat it for lunch at work everyday.
Another loaded lesson. Thanks, Doc.

Excellent presentation as always. Spices have become a fascination along with vegetables, fruits and nuts. Some months ago too, I bought a water filter that has filters for arsenic.

From southeast asia recipes
Prawn
Turmeric powder 2 teaspoon or
fresh one 1 inch
1 Pineapple chop into slices 1cm width
1 lemongrass
Coconut milk
Blend1 onion and 3 garlic
3 chilies can skip this or use cayenne pepper

How to cook
700 ml water boil it
Pour the blended ingredients
Put lemongrass, after the water boiling put the Pineapple cook for 10 minutes then put the prawn and coconut milk. Slow cook with medium heat. don't overcook the coconut milk
Seasons it how you like it with the salt. No need to add sugar if the pineapple already sweet. Turmeric commonly use in southeast asian country. This is one of my favourite recipes the name is Masak lemak udang nenas. The final results you will get creamy soup with refreshing taste because of the pineapple. You can add basil leaves. In the original recipe we add turmeric leaves. If you want more creamy texture add less water and add cooking cream. It will be more thick you can eat it with bread. Because here we eat with rice. The soup more watery.

A good friend of mine at work just actually informed me how to properly cook my rice. I had no idea my mother never incorporated rice into our meals growing up. ❤

Thank you for this amazingly informative video!❤❤ As a mother of a newly diagnosed 19 year old with a severe autoimmune disorder, this information will be used by my whole family moving forward. We already knew about Tumeric and Ginger, but the details you provided on Cinnamon blew my mind 🤯🤯 We were buying the Organic Saigon Cinnamon from Costco too....just threw that in the trash!

Ayurveda has been using all these herbs and spices thousands of years BC. That’s why Indian food are full of them.

Great content. Big pharma will not like this content. But regular people should pay attention.
