It's easier to know melee because it's a smaller player base, even if it's old

To be fair, Melee has been around a lot longer than Ultimate and the players that are at the top stand out a lot more than other players. For example, even though there are a lot more peach players than there was before, Armada's Peach punish game and edge guarding is unmatched by any other Peach player.

They keep being so vocal about Melee that you'll necessarely know most things. Also there is so much people in Ultimate it's honestly harder.
