To be fair, that's how easy it can be for Blizzard to really capture existing WoW players if they did Classic+

Just having new caves, and new zones, with new quest lines, even if they aren't too expansive - is a step in the right direction. Release Classic+, where it is fresh vanilla, free to play up to level 10/15/20, with new zones, caves, quest lines, elites, easter eggs, do a little class balancing, and perhaps gear balancing to allow new content to compete and exist alongside old content, and I think you have a pretty good shot at reimagining WoW without all the expansions where the player is essentially limited to these small, new continents like Outland or Northrend - they're just not as immersive.

World bosses etc made people go out and explore EK and Kalimdor. Consumes requiring herbs like black lotus makes people go out in the world so lower levels see higher levels roaming around, it acts as a catalyst to help lower levels feel motivated to keep going.

Finally, a little emphasis on some solo content where players could solo some bosses or saves to get a nice upgrade would go a long way. Whilst what makes Classic so cool is the social aspect, having a SOME solo content I feel would go a long way.

This is one of the reasons why I still play this game. After so many years there is STILL something new you'll find in this old game. This happens very occasionally but it still happens.

Oh man, i actually lived in this cave for many lvls on my first character in vanilla. I played pvp server with friends, but i hated the anxiety of being attacked by players while i grinded. Nobody knew about this cave back then, let alone the hidden passage.

There's a rare spawn in there sometimes.

That's crazy. If thats the cave on the island nead Feathermoon I've spent countless hours in there grinding xp because like you said they respawn quick and are easy isolated kills. I never knew there was a cave under that lake. Now I gotta log in and go over and check that out lol

I try play hardcore and now I died with 2 characters. My first mage die in Westfall at level 15, then I created a backgroud story and his son comes to avenge it, then i die with the son at level 15 in exactly same fucking place, and now i play with the grandson to avenge them. I literaly excpect not die again at level 15.
