If anything kills creativity, it starts far before in the school system, than in college. I never noticed it before until after I left college, but the schooling system in general puts all of us into a box. It affects out way of thinking, killing us from branching out. Very sad...

I was talking to a fine art graduate last week at work, she came over for interview, I'm a self taught artist and my goodness, she reminded me of all the crap I had to unlearn to become high status and an entrepreneur.

I was lucky I had this longing for more like, "is this really it? Really? Am I really living or drifting?", so I dropped out even before I could take a single class in college. Thank God for that. Sought out guidance like a crazy person and when I found it, I worked on myself like hell. I became a totally different man down the road, a man with purpose, thanks to people like Jason Capital who then introduced me to Dan Lok.

2:40, thats exactly me, I always can get a good grade back in college. Not only because of my good logical and math skills, even I appreciate that, but most importantly, I can memorize most of theories/answers/formulas before exams/tests! Which creates the illusion that I am "smart", and actually NOT!

Cool video; I think although college could be good for meeting and learning from people, the fact that the system is trying to "indoctrinate" you into thinking it's the only way blinds people from a lot of the viable alternatives (which is to their advantage because they want as many people to want to apply and enroll as possible). BTW, I think Howard Gardner is considering adding more types of intelligences to his list.
