Do you know how to properly use your MDI Inhaler? Studies show only 1/3 of patients are using their inhalers correctly, 1/3 are performing adequately but not correct and 1/3 are using their inhalers incorrectly.

This video will teach you how to properly use an MDI inhaler (Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Dulera, Flovent, Qvar, Xopenex Ventolin, Proventil, Alvesco, ProAir). A metered dose inhaler, or MDI, is a pressurized canister of medicine in a plastic holder with a mouthpiece. When sprayed, it gives a reliable, consistent dose of medication.

How do U know it worked?
I did it & I didn't feel anything. I tried to prime it & didn't hear anything. I pushed it 4 or 5 times.
How do U know anything is coming out of the inhaler?
Is it wet? Do U feel anything coming out of it?
I didn't so I couldn't tell if it worked or did anything.
Weird.
Can U tell me what U feel when U press the inhaler down & breathe in??
