Cleaning with pure water systems for commercial window cleaning for years, I've noticed DI/Pure water will have a tendency to create a more hydrophilic effect (sheeting) on a clean surface free of coatings.
In window cleaning that's actually the goal when you're cleaning using only Pure water and a brush. The hydrophobic surfaces (beading) tend to leave a little residue that's more common in direct sun.
Sediment and carbon filters before your DI tank can reduce the minerals and particles that break down the DI resin quickly. Surprised I haven't seen any setups with pre-filters and RO before Deionization, which in the long term greatly reduces the need for changing DI resin.
Probably got a bit long winded there, whatever. Love your videos!

Hey guys, great video! Long time sub here and All ive got to say is yall do yall. If yalls methods work great for you then keep using those methods. Everyone works differently, learns differenly and does things differently however if it yields the same results or similar results and youve achieved the same goal I dont see an issue. Obviously yall have grown not only a detailing company but also a detailing chanel so imo id like to think your methods do work. They may not for everyone or someone else may not like them but as i said before they work well and achive the end goal.

In the end all that really matters is how your customers like their vehicle after you are done. I have been detailing for 8 yrs. and I like to take my time and not rush. I am not in a speed contest with anyone to prove how fast I can detail a vehicle. Phil, you and your wife are true professionals and do amazing work and I have definitely learned some things from watching your videos. The way that you speak and explain things are second to none. I definitely see maybe motivational speaking in your future, you are that good at speaking.

I always hate doing a decon wash in the sun because I it is just me working and it takes me to long. Your processes have helped me a lot and thank you for teaching processes. Jimbo’s product looked to work well to my eyes. Defy is an awesome product and it smells good. Thank you for a good training video.
