Amphibia’s S2 Finale Was Mind-Blowing! 🤯🐸 | ‘True Colors’ Top Twists

Amphibia’s Season two finale “True Colors” is finally out and it’s hitting us with some MAJOR reveals. Here’s my top 3.

3. Season 3 will take place in the Human World! Not only are we going to meet Anne’s family and cat, but we’re looking at several new characters to start speculating about. Very excited to meet these FBI agents and conspiracy theorists as the world learns about giant amphibians. I’m expecting news of Andreas' upcoming invasion to make things murky about who to trust.

2. Marcy was nearly killed! Thanks to the post credits we know that Andreas is keeping her alive, maybe partially due to her being his pal, but definitely because he’s gonna need her big brain. This moment was a real shocker, and I’m glad Disney didn’t force the creators to edit it out.

1. Anne is a super saiyan! Giving Anne superpowers is a game changer, and with word of her being involved in a prophecy you just know there’s going to be more intense battles. I’m not the only one expecting Sasah and Marcy developing similar powers from the other gems. Oh no, maybe THAT’S why Andreas needs Marcy alive!

Amphibia may be over for now but The Owl House Season 2 is coming to keep us comfortable for now.

Yeah I saw the leaks weeks ago and man that ending also this new scene was unexpected! Yet also gives us a bit of a copout as to the fate of Marcy

I think it's a cool idea for the others to get powers aswell, but like Andreas said "she's still connected to the box" which shocked him because he thought charging the gems would stop this, and I think it didnt because her gem only partially charged. let me explain

when they went into amphibia it seems like they absorbed the power of the gems, which is why they faded and also why the girls eyes flashed their respective colours for brief moments. (Anne - blue - in the first episode when she was fighting the mantis, and when fighting the vegetable monster, Marcy - green - when saving sprig from the ant queen, and Sasha - pink - when pulling the hammer from the narwalworm)

so when they charged the gems it seems like the powers where reabsorbed, shown when they're eyes went their colour and drained. the temple their powers drained in, I (and I think most people) think shows what their specialty is. Marcy was in the first temple, which was puzzle related, so wisdom or intelligence. Anne was in the second "temple", which ended up being about empathy and/or courage, so empathy and/or courage, (empathy for the fact that the weird witchy person says it, and courage because it took courage to do what she did each trial). and Sasha was in the third temple, which was strength related, so power or strength.

so when Anne's eye only partially drained it seemed to have kept her connected to the box and its power, implying, based on this and King Andrias' shocked statement ("she's still connected to the box") that the others aren't. it's possible they figure this out and end up trying to unlock their powers using the box again, but for now it seems like only Anne has her power. (And her exhaustion from using it could be because she doesn't have all the power from the gem, as some of it was reabsorbed)

Maybe Andreas (idk how to spell) need to keep all three of them alive to keep amphibia alive, because maybe if one of them die them gem breaks and the world would end

I don’t think anyone is capable of battling Anne in DEATH BATTLE if she’s this powerful. Luz might need a buff first in her next season.
