Get the step-by-step process of writing SMART goals (or turning what may be goals into actual SMART goals). This video will show you how!

What’s the difference between goals and SMART goals? Example: I want to work on my professional and personal development this year. This is more of a vision or an overarching dream/desire. Here is a SMART goal that can go with this desire: I will read 6 self-help books in the next 12 months. What about health-related items? Here are 3 examples of actionable SMART goals that tie to the overarching vision of living healthier. 1. I will cut my carbs by 50% daily. 2. I will not use any elevators or escalators for the next 12 months. I will use steps instead.3. I will do 15 minutes of yoga 4 times per week.

For a SMART goal to be a SMART goal, you have to make sure it’s specific enough and that there is a number of some sort tied to it that you can measure. The SMART goal has to be actually realistic and attainable – not too outlandish. It also has to have a time factor involved (frequency or deadline). Monitor your progress with each goal weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Choose only 3 goals or actions to work on at one time to not get overwhelmed!

Are people aware that some teachers have never left school, and that studying at uni sometimes seem far too easy, and maybe even quintessentially almost as childish as Kindergarten or, say, Primary School.
