Gen is the most underrated apex streamer. He is truly the goat. His aim is uncanny and he's super entertaining to watch. Legit pick his stream over all the most popular apex streamers.

He's right in a few ways like it being more for practicing micro adjustments, but the reason it's different in game, is because that target is three times wider than the widest hitbox in the game, and he's sitting still, which you'll never see someone of his caliber do in a real game. So you're better off practicing the flicks, (target acquisition) and recoil smoothing, (strafing while shooting and countering your strafe with your yaw movement.)

Before every match I do the little Easter egg that makes the dummy’s come to life and attack you and go about 10-15 rounds of just running back and fourth grabbing ammo and killing the dummies

Scout of action is valuable for those not at gens level and don't have years of experience backing the controller or mnk input. Especially for mnk because it's completely raw input, for new to even experienced players it is basically an in game spidershot/gridshot but with different depth and ranges. Not great for tracking, but will improve your flicks and where your brain expects the mouse to be, to fit more accurately with where your hand actually puts it. It improved my wingman a lot, especially doing the centre dummy + targets flick headshotting each part in one mag.

0:58 is a great tip. If you use pistols/SMGs or any weapon with a fast strafe speed, the micro movements you need to be precise will be much harder. Practice that to get a precise shot

1:21 true scout of action only trains your peripheral vision and a little flick action that you never use like that in a game. And for me on controller my base settings are too high for a perfect score. I literally changed my resp curve or extra yaw on something I never play and even surpassed my older record. I can get 90+ in the scout of action challenge but that doesn’t mean my aim will be good that day.
