In this PsychoPy tutorial we look at data output from our simple PsychoPy memory experiment in Excel and deal with our first pivot table. We examine how to summarize data and explore merging data files from multiple participants. We also encounter the PsychoPy loop bug one more time...

Hello! Thank you so much for creating these videos! I was wondering if you have any tips for handling data where branching occurred (depending on participants' responses at one trial, certain loops were skipped)? Because loops were skipped, these columns are missing from the CSV files rather than being present but blank. Again, the missing columns differ across participants depending on their decision at a previous trial, which makes copying and pasting rows difficult. Thank you!

Hi, Jason. A useful and detailed tutorial. But when I execute the code in Geany, it says "Syntax Error: Missing parentheses in call to 'print'". Is there somthing wrong with line 33? Thank you!

Hi Jason,

I was wondering if pivot table is the only function that can be used to analyze the data of psychoPy?
Are there other functions beside of pivot table that do basically the same?

Thank you very much!
