Coming from Win xp pro to Win 7 pro, looks like im sticking to 7.I don't want a tablet os on my desktop..never! I hope desktop touch screens are a fad.

I honestly like what Windows 10 is implementing. I don't see why other users are frustrated and are threatening to switch over to Mac or Linux. You can't expect Microsoft to keep the same desktop experience from the past years. Of course, it'll be all new and confusing at first, but I honestly don't see the features being that much of a catastrophe. I just don't understand why people are appalled by change.

Can't wait for 10.
Hopefully in appeasing desktop users, they didn't sacrifice the wonderful tablet experience.
I love 8.1 on my Surface Pro 3.

ok, it's all just GREAT MICROSOFT, it's just great! And now PLEASE could you make an OS for HOME PC's as in (GAMING PC) or just home personal
This is basically another OS for tablets, phones etc... You are turning windows to shit now and we dislike that. I'd personally rather go back to WINDOWS XP than upgrade to this piece of I hope you get the message and make a windows 9 that will overtake all this crap.

Love it! MS is trashy doing a great job listening to Wht the customers want. Windows 10 is asking up be really nice. Can't wait to see the phone version.

Thank goodness, they decided to merge the two system settings menus.
It made no sense whatsoever to have settings spread across two separate menus and it made helping a family member with his/her computer more difficult than necessary: having to figure out which menu I need and where I need to look inside that menu...

This didn't excite me at all. I'll still stick to Win 7. I'll only upgrade my work laptop from 8 to 10 since it's free (great initiative by the way)

Microsoft just destroyed their Desktop OS that Windows 7 was. This Win10 is the same ugly bloated Frankenstein that 8 is.

Notifications window huh?  Wonder where I have seen that before, MacOS 10.9 Mavericks?  NOOO!  NO WAY!  Microsoft wouldn't copy anything that Apple is doing. Never in a million years...
well not twice at least...

Windows 10 looks like a mess of ideas. Windows 7 is wonderful.
Windows 10 is a confused operating system.

@JulianGaal the icons seem pretty big to me. Remember, this is also a mouse and keyboard OS.

So now when we move the mouse to the right that huge panel shows up, instead of the already pointless and annoying charms?

@StefanC. The power off option was under Settings in the Charms bar.
