I love that she isn’t innately an evil creature who’s going after everyone. It’s a refreshing take on this troupe and reminds me a lot of the baba yaga stories I grew up with (dangerous, and not like us, but not innately evil). The detail of “if you can’t hold up your end of the deal”, it gives a fun explanation of her actions 💜💜💜💜💜

Wowza, I'm loving the creepiness factor. Some ideas I have: Her assistant can be a goblin shark or a viperfish. As for pets, a giant sea spider. Her lair can have glowing abyssal jellyfish as light fixtures and siphonophores hanging like garlands.
