“Anything that happens to Shauna we take very seriously” … she has had migraines every day for 2 years and has never had it checked out 🤷‍♀️

Awe! This doctor almost cried at the end. You could see tears forming when she talk so kindly & respectful of this young woman. What a sweet, caring doctor she is you don't see doctor like this anymore.

I love that the doctor said “physically not carry a child” when referring to if she could be a mother. Being a mother comes in many forms. Even if you can’t physically carry a baby, you can still be a mother.🤍

I feel like so far the doctor has treated her more like an independent and capable adult than anyone else featured so far. Seems like a very genuine and considerate woman.
Being neurodivergent, I know what it's like to be treated like a child even as an adult (near 30's) and it's so belittling and dehumanising. Amusing but frustrating.
I'm happy with the treatment Shauna received and I'm sure she is too. Even down to correcting herself to say woman instead of girl and not speaking to her like a child. Some do, unintentionally or not. She did not. If I lived closer I would see this Doctor. Good on them 👍

I like that the doctor corrected herself and said “she’s a wonderful woman” that was so sweet and caring of her :)

She should be an actress. People with unique characteristics play some of the most memorable roles.

My cousin was 10 and diagnosed with brain cancer. They gave her meds to stunt her growth IN ORDER TO SURVIVE. She's 4'7. She'll be 40 in July however, she was diagnosed with epilepsy recently. It's all connected I believe, her brain. It's sad seeing someone sick their whole life 😪

I hope she's being treated well by others. By that I mean I hope people take her seriously! I get the feeling a lot of people treat her like a child.

She has the most beautiful eyes!
As a sufferer of migraines, a Neurologist is the best route!
My prayers that her cancer never comes back!

I don't think that having a small parent would affect a child in any negative way. I think it would make no difference to the child and if any thing it would help them be more open minded about people's differences and empathetic.

It’s wonderful how deeply empathetic she is. Understanding that her child growing to be taller than their mom so early on could have negative effects on their well-being. She might not be able to physically carry a child to term or have the physical strength to haul a kid around, but she definitely has the empathy, compassion and care that a lot of parents lack. I bet she’d make an awesome mom!

I’m a 21 year old woman only a foot taller than Shauna. I relate to her so much because even tho I’m not a child nearly everyone sees or treats me that way. I’ve had some really harsh treatments at anywhere that checks an ID. I was even stopped at an amusement park because they thought I was an unsupervised minor. 😂

Size makes ZERO difference when it comes to roles people have in a family. Trust me. My mom was tiny, but her presence was commanding. It's all attitude and confidence.

She wants to be loved, love well, and treated as an adult. She's in her 20's it makes sense... But due to her health issues just about everything has to be taken with precaution. I dated a girl with CF in college she had issues with her health and unfortunately passed away. I was heartbroken for many years because I found someone who I loved for the first time outside of my family and close friends and was loved back. I wish Shauna the best in everything and want her to not worry about what she cannot control.

Being short and having your kids grow taller than you before they hit puberty is NOT the end of the world and the kids don’t feel ashamed nor embarrassed they actually feel pride and protective

I know I’m living it now

The parents skipped out on the growth hormones because she didn’t like shots🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️. And if she got all the shots, she’d be 5’ tall???!!!! Crappy parents!!! Letting a child make adult decisions and now she has to deal with the repercussions of bad parenting!

I love at the end of the consultant when the MD originally referred to Shauna as a "wonderful girl", she corrected herself on camera and said Shauna is a "wonderful woman". Professionalism at it's finest! Nicely done doc!

God bless Shauna I hope she continues to improve and achieve the goals she wishes to achieve in the long run. I know it must suck to have headaches everyday too. That would drive me crazy.
