Beautifully explained, Awesome. They have incresed the fees, When I had applied, that time the fees were as shown by him in the video, but now they have increased the fees. Namely Sponsorship Fee from $75 to $ 85, Processing fee from $ 490 to $ 545, permanent residence fee from $ 515 to $ 575. Only Biometric fee is same. $ 85.

I watched and followed the steps and submitted the application on April 16 2024 and received the passport request for my wife this week. Hii suyash, thank u for ur informative videos. Actually i had my biometrics done in india when i applied for study permit three years back. So o didn't pay 85 dollars for biometrics fee while submitting spousal inland application. Now i got Biometric Instruction Letter from ircc four days back. I have made biometrics appointment for 4 dec. Can i pay there on the biometrics centre? Or i can pay online. If i do it online, , where i should upload the fee receipt? Bcz i am unable to link my PR application in GC key portal

Regarding Biometrics, what if you're sponsoring your spouse from a country that doesn't require biometrics? For example, USA. No need to pay for biometrics fee then right?

My wife is in school and she'll finish at the end of January. As i mentioned, she completed fingerprints and medica which were done in late March and beginning of August respectively. Then i decided to book a flight ticket so she can come to Canada Late February 2024, yes, pre-emptively, without waiting for actual confirmation of the passport request, nor the return of the passport + COPR.

August 5th is when the medical test was confirmed to be successfully completed as per the tracker. No progress on the tracker developed.

Perhaps now my anxiety is clear and can be visualized.

Suppose I applied for a visitor visa on behalf of my wife. If she arrives in Canada (Vancouver Island) What would happen when she eventually receives the passport request. Who would she submit the passport to, to receive the confirmation of permanent residence?

Do you advise that i apply for a visitor visa (6+ month stay)?
