Nice recipe. You can add some chopped walnuts to make a Coco(Nut) Sweat Bread. I've also used orange juice instead of water to make an orange coco(nut) sweet bread. The slight tart mixed with the fruit gives it a heavenly taste. With orange juice is use half a tsp of baking soda and 2 tsp baking powder.

Thanks for this recipe. It's 2020 and everyone is quarentine cooking and baking is what we Trinis doing to keep busy and safe. I love sweet bread with cheese and also with bake ham.

miss lady don't break that coconut like that for me pls. when I saw the way it was brake I say u were gonna get cut, brake up the coconut into small pieces so that u will have manageable pieces to work with ok . do it the Trini way. pelt the dam coconut outside lol lol
