Can I be honest.. Sultanate started with Ayse Hafsa Sultan.. mother of Sultan Suleyman.. and after her death it was Hurrem who kinda became an influence but never became a Valide, thats why her daughter Mihrimah became Valide for her brother Selim I. and after Mihrimah it was Nurbanu, Safiye and then it was Helena I forgot her muslim name tbh then Halime but for a short period and it was Kosem who came on throne ruling only by herself and was also murdered when she grew old.. if Im wrong sorry. Dont mean to insult anyone.. And Hurrems name wasnt Anastasya it was Alexandra or how many called her Roxelana..
