Google guessed that it was a palm tree, but I thought it was a marijuana leaf

The AIs not actually probably that bad from first look, it’s just that just from this we haven’t in the video demo been able to fully understand it’s reaches, this might only be like child’s play to it, Gemini Astra could probably be able to perform complex engineering, designing, coding, mathematics, and science, tasks involving computer vision as easily as it seems to us on the outside of the black box as simply recognizing a baguette plush and we probably can imagine that being true. The demo itself is meant to constrain the limits of what the model could potentially do and I think that was intentional for this narrow-ended sort-of demo test thing. It’s not meant to show geminis full capacity because it couldn’t even you wanted to be able to with this demo.

I’m super excited for these features to come to the public from multiple companies I cannot wait to have a true virtual assistant. I wonder who will take the lead between Google, open AI or Apple. Matt could be in the running, but they have not announced anything like this yet and I would imagine Apple will do so next month.

I love how half the comments are about the drawing of the "palm tree" she made

It's only a matter of time before it will start responding with "Sorry, I didn't understand" or "Hold on while I get connected to WiFi" just like Google Home now does 80% of the time.

I can predict what's going to happen next: Google will release it, they'll fail to market it, they'll gradually begin to cut features & then kill it. Soon after, Apple will announce their version, and it will immediately become the most popular visual AI. A story as old as time.

It's reading her mind to do the guesses.

For a company with tons of developers, they can’t keep up with open AI.

AI is cool but food, housing, and health care are becoming unaffordable.

This looks terrible compared to 4o LOL

This is analogous to using Yahoo search when Google was already in the picture....it's just embarrassingly bad when compared to the other major AI players.

Another product that needs to create a need for itself.
