I'm rewatching Enier Lobby, and I admit to respecting Lucci. Every time he smiles tells me that he loves his job, sick as it is. He's a professional subordinate, but he has pride. He followed Spandam's orders, but only to the letter.
And man, does he love killing. It's clear he prolonged his EL fight with Luffy at the beginning just so he can enjoy it a while longer. He fought Luffy in base form until Franky showed up, just so he wouldn't kill Luffy with a finger pistol. He's like Kaido before he was confirmed the strongest.
