When I discerned priesthood in the LC, Fr Owen Kewrns was my favorite confessor.
Hanging out and participating with the LC brothers and Fathers in local apostolates and retreats helped catalyze my "thinking about it" to actually discerning it with intentional decisions/actions. GOD Speed and GOD Bless.

For these guys a “Vocation” is basically a Draft Notice. You have one whether you want it or not, and they have the ability to tell you if you have one or not, just like a Military draft board. And so many fall for it 😅😂

When I went to my church pastorate and said I wanted to dedicate my life to Christian service, they waved me off with maybe I could be a pastor's wife or a church secretary. It took decades (pre-internet) but I finally left Christianity altogether and haven't been happier about their misogyny.
