9 Things to DO & SEE in ONE DAY IN MARSEILLE, FRANCE

This video is just a quick walking tour I put together of our one day in Marseille, France. I seriously underestimated this stop on our Mediterranean cruise. We ended up visiting the nearby town of Cassis as well as the Parc National des Calanques, which was stunning. Whether you only have a few hours to spend here or a few days, below is a list of some things not to miss out on in and near Marseille.

1. Line up transportation ahead of time -

2. Visit the Parc National des Calanques -
There's so much to see and do, whether you just want a quick view
or want to get in some hiking, rock climbing, or boating. It's so worth it.

4. Visit the seaside village of Cassis -
This quaint little town is all your French seaside dreams. Surrounded
by azure waters and a picturesque waterfront, it's not a place you want
to miss out on. On Wednesday and Friday morning they have a market
set up you can walk through and do some shopping.

5. La Tarte Tropézienne Cassis -
A beautiful little bakery located near
the waterfront in Cassis.

6. Head back to Marseille to explore

7. Le Bouchon Provençal -
Amazing French restaurant in Marseille located near the waterfront.

8. Notre Dame de la Garde -
Beautiful cathedral and gorgeous view of Marseille.


9. Explore the city and try out some local cafes.
