▸ JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険), often shortened to JoJo or JJBA, is a shonen and seinen manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It began in December 1986, following the journeys of the Joestar family members across generations, and is still on-going, with it's 9th Part: The JOJOLands currently serialized in Ultra Jump Magazine.

▸ In October 2012, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure would be adapted into an anime series produced by David Production adapting Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, which began broadcast on Tokyo MX. As of December 2022, the studio has produced five seasons consisting of 190 total episodes adapting through the manga's sixth part, Stone Ocean.

After knowing this now I'm 100% sure Araki got recongized by a fan (like Jodio when he met rohan) during his research in Hawaii, with said fan having a similar reaction to Jodio and goshing all over Araki's manga and even the jojo anime, after all his face is just too iconic in the fandom at this point, it makes sense that would've happened eventually.

Im from Hawaii and I love the hawaiian vibe Araki is bringing with this part so far. I have a theory about the lava rock and the thing they were fighting last chapter. So in Hawaii its bad luck to take random lava rocks because they might be cursed or attached to a spirit. What if the thing Paco was fighting is a spirit or just trying to return to rock to its original home. Also in Hawaii there are these called aumakua its like a guardian spirit and in a way stands are guardian spirits. Cant wait to see what else Araki cooks up in part 9

Araki's curiosity (and how he implemented it in Rohan's character) really has an influence in the way I see the world around me now. I don't write any story but I draw, and I want to make more illustrations with interesting backgrounds, more landscapes and buildings... Seeing him taking pictures of everythings, even the seemingly less interesting elements, make me want to go outside more and take hundreds of pictures.
It also connects me more to the city I live in, I want to know its secrets, I want to see the variety of people outside and visit every little shop to feel different kinds of atmospheres. The man has changed the way I see the outside world, damn

Really cool that Araki goes to places in person to research about the culture, environment and life of the people in those places, it definetly makes the stories that he writes more colourful and vibrant in nature.
