Vung Tau is one of my favorite places to visit in all of Vietnam. Its a beach town in the south near Ho Chi Minh city and its great for a few days or a weekend getaway. Amazing food, great weather, and plenty to keep you busy for a few days.

It gets tight up at the top of the Jesus statue. Another cool spot is the lighthouse and the old French cannons at the top of Hem 444. Go to the very top and explore that area. You will also see the Catholic church on the way that has many stairs to climb as well. Vung Tau is a great place.
