Pineapple Upside Down Cake in a Cast Iron Skillet

Classic Cake but let's do it in Cast Iron!
This is easy. Try it, you'll like it. It doesn't look or taste any better than this!

Ingredients:
Yellow Cake Mix
1/2 cup Canola Oil (for cake mix)
1 Cup Water (for cake mix)
2 eggs (for cake mix)

Stick of Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar

Candied Cherries
Pineapple ring slices

Spiced Rum

In the oven @ 350 for 35-40 minutes

Flip it!, Enjoy!

Try using the pineapple juice inside of the cake instead of water. It makes your cake so much flavorful

A lot of people are making this and I just remember my grandma always making this and she always added walnuts and coconut to the topping mix with the pineapples and stuff

Replace the cake water for 1 cup pineapple juice from the drained pineapple. I use a shifter. Add drained crushed pineapples on top of the pineapple slices. Cut cherries in half or skip using them. I had to add a tad extra brown sugar to my 1 stick unsalted butter.
