You have to love the hypocrisy of MCU fans when the critics rate a Marvel movie with 70 or higher they love them as soon as a Marvel movie hits a lower score than that they’re all like oh what bad critics they can’t enjoy a movie never trusted them anyways. It’s hilarious to me.

I think that the problem with the mcu right now is that the products are coming out so fast. The writers and directors probably have great ideas that they want to expand upon, because they have so little time, they just have to plug it into the Disney machine to make it as basic and kid friendly as possible.

The score does worry me just a bit, but as I’ve said before, I’ll go into the movie with an open mind. That said, if they did mess this movie up, Guardians might just be where I leave off on MCU. If Deadpool 3 looks good, I’ll see that one. Why specifically does it have the rotten score? I’ll find out Saturday…

To clarify tho, for those of you who somehow still aren’t aware, rotten tomato percentages are just based off of how much people gave it a good enough score. That’s why Megan got a 90 something. Enough people enjoyed it to at least give it a passing score. It doesn’t mean the movie was necessarily bad or necessarily good, just enough people liked it they figured 90 something percent of people enjoyed it. Here, it seems to be split just about evenly 👍

If you ask me the only opinion that really matters is your own. Just remember to be accepting to and respecting of others opinions ;)

This shook me, I thought this would be safe from a rotten score as Ant-Man/Ant-Man and The Wasp were both certified fresh, now it’s the Star Wars Sequel trilogy all over again.

I’m honestly more shocked that this film is the one to get the rotten score. But really my view on a lot of mainstream critics( outside you, Sean. You’re awesome.) have taken a dive given their status as access media. Regardless, unless this film is a big hit with audiences and manages to score a big box office thanks to China; optics wise this isn’t the best look for Marvel. Especially after a pretty meh/ bad phase four.

I loved this movie....when kang was on screen. If there is a version of this movie with shots of just kang on screen I would watch it
