Eban Brown fit as smoothly into Russell Thompkins' role in The Stylistics as Damon Harris did into Eddie Kendricks' role in The Temptations. Taking nothing away from Russell, who still turs with his own group and sounds the same after all these years, Eban was the perfect replacement in the group to join two the remaining original members who tour under that name as proven by this and the many - both popular and obscure - Stylistics songs he covered in their live act in which you could hardly tell the difference between the two!
