A peculiar little show, "Show Me Where the Good Times Are" was a 1970 musical version of Moliere's "The Imaginary Invalid," written by Lee Thuna, Rhoda Roberts and Kenneth Jacobson. The show ran for only 29 performances off-Broadway and starred Cathryn Damon, Neva Small, Arnold Soboloff, Gloria LeRoy and Christopher Hewitt among others.

Comes from a live recording of the songs made from the audience. Unfortunately on this night, there is a rather... overzealous audience member who claps nearly incessantly.

The title song, as you probably know, came from "Hot September, " a 1965 musical version of "Picnic" that closed out of town.
