I worked on an emergency crisis response team for the government. We were the people behind the scenes directing law enforcement and everyone else for what to do in real time. One of the subspecialties I had special training and experience in was school violence/shootings.
I have worked either for or with the majority of two and three letter departments as well and been trained by them too. Barricaded subjects, suicidal/homicidal situations, and anything else that goes sideways in the area, we were called on to resolve the crisis.
We used to study school shootings for years. I will say that after watching 100s and 100s of hours of the Sandy Hook incident, I will say that the government explanation of that day was not what happened. This is a comment on the government, not Sandy Hook itself. There was a tremendous amount of inconsistencies between the government narrative and the actual videos of the scene.
So much didn't match from the video coverage to the narrative.
