I'm actually so relieved you're back. I found you years ago when I was younger. You did a short cover of Pills N Potions by Nicki and because I was following her, I saw it on instagram. Then you later went on to do a full rendition of it. And I've been hooked ever since. I was still in high school back then, maybe even middle school and now I'm 25. I think if I had to guess, I'd say a cool 5000 if not more of your views on your videos are literally just me. No lie lol. Probably way more. I've listened to some so many times I can hear the whole thing in my head without it actually playing. In fact, I've listened to your music so much that even songs you have never played before, I can imagine it in my head in your style. I've never seen someone who plays quite like you. I tried violin as a kid, but I unfortunately went to Christian school at that time and was one of maybe two black kids there. They discouraged me from playing "secular" music on a classical instrument or any instrument for that matter. And classical music never really spoke to me for the most part, so I ended up quitting altogether. I grew up with jazz, blues, motown, 90s R&B etc in my family so it was frustrating for me that I wasn't allowed to learn to play that. I think the inner child in me enjoys how you play so much because of that. Violin is a voice and it can be ANY voice including black voices. Wish I had known that all those years ago.
This is gonna sound crazy but I'm wondering if one day you can do a version of Just Wanna Rock by Lil Uzi Vert. I feel like it would go insane. I know that's random. I'd also like to hear a full version of Yamz since I can only find a short clip on here of you doing that song. Anyways, sorry for the ramble.
