Zelle is the best way to send money because it's offered directly through your bank. Use Zelle and leave these 3rd party apps alone!

Actually her bank with a dispute should give her her money back because they are the ones that released it and send it to these phony people and usually the bank does when you have a problem gives you your money back I have had a lot of disputes with my bank with online purchases I never got the items and my bank after about 3 days put my money back in my account when I didn't receive my items, yes it was a scam but her dispute is with the bank because the bank is the one that pulled her money out and gave it to them

A few weeks ago after filling my taxes I decided to use their card thru TurboTax. While filling it gave me the option to set up my account thru them. Which I did. TurboTax explained to me what to look for in emails and avoid getting scammed. 2 days later I received an email saying that they were TurboTax and please log in to set up your PIN number. I immediately noticed it wasn't their logo and this was someone trying to get my PIN and wipe out my account.

They asked her to verify her account and she gave them her account info plain and simple. She will learn next time.

That was her fault, not cash app. She called a scam number and gave her information. Cash app doesn't have a costumer service number. They only communicate through email.

Most banks support Zellee, Pay Pal is great but be careful because in some instances they charge fees read the small print. Banks do not support $Cash App, got that directly from a major bank's 20 year employee.

I had an email saying that they were Apple and I ordered a product and if I want to cancel it click on this. I clicked on and it looked just like the Apple site. They asked for my credit card number to cancel the product that I never ordered. I knew it was a scam then. Be careful of that one. Never give financial info over the phone.

They scammed her but once they verified her account they asked her to resend the money they will reimburse her, then they ask her to add a phone number that they provide, then they ask for her pin which in returns gives them access to her account...I know that got my sister for $450.00

This ALMOST happened to me... I was having problems with my cash app, so I googled a cash app customer service number.. well after they told me to wire them some money in order for them to send me the money... well, I kept them on the phone and acted like I was going along. But I never gave them all the info. They asked for...but I went to bank and had my credit card changed. just in case... cash app doesn’t even have a customer service #... and they were from India...

They upgraded this! They just mirrored my phone and NEVER asked for my password! They watched me put it in and stole 800.00 and cash app does not have any help!

I don't think cash app should give the money back. Its not like she was hacked. She was just a victim of a scam. If anyone should be paying this women is Google for allowing a scam site to come up on the search.

Cash app has been messing up alot that's why alot of restaurant and stores are not using them anymore. Chic fil A, some gas stations are not using here in Georgia. She had to give them more than info they did not have a phone number they talk to you through email. They usually are good about giving you your money back though I had 40.00 taken from me and they gave it back within 3 days with a free 10.00 coupon.

I prefer to use PayPal. Cash App used to work well for me. It no longer works well for me receiving money despite plenty of communication with Cash App employees via email and verbally, although they could see the money sent to me. This was for products that I sell. This continued for more than a year. I'm glad it was only $30. So, I stopped using Cash App.

It's not cashapps fault. On the app your suppose to contact cash support. That's how you report a problem.

CashApp needs to have those numbers deleted from Google. They should mail their customers and alert them about the scams.
They can overrun the Google ads with Scam alerts. Cash app needs to do more.
