Toyota Tundra 2016 - CV axle play and noise - Is this normal?

Trying to diagnose a sound that I thought was suspension related. I've had a slight "loose bushing sound" when coming to a stop. A clank/clunk when turning into driveway and passenger side goes full droop in suspension.

That is just horizontal IN and OUT play. It is normal.
There should not be movement in UP and DOWN direction.

Unless it clanks/pops and makes a bunch of noise, I would leave it alone. I've got 1st gen Tundra with 200k miles on it, with the original CV shafts and I go rock crawling and mudding a lot. It's probably seen 15k miles of strictly hard off-road use, and my CV shafts are still good.

As a follow up to this noise. The CV axles were fine and that noise is normal. Turns out the bushings in my steering rack were shot. See my video showing movement. Energy suspension sells a replacement set. Toyota calls for replacing the whole rack wtf!

Is it lifted? If so that causes a lot of issues with binding in CV’s and as someone else mentioned you need to change the needle bearing in differential to the bushing style.

you need to replace the needle bearing assembly with a clamshell bushing from eastcoast gear supply. simple fix, good luck
