Every amateur band to play a neighborhood outdoor festival:

No gauges. You ran it by listening to the engine and feeling the vibration of the car.
Tried to teach my ex-wife how to shift a car with a manual transmission by listening to it. She grround a lot of gears and never could learn.

That’s bad ass! Bread box tunnel ram, real magnesium wheels, one piece tilt. Is that a 327?

Ahhhh, I wish I had the privilege of meeting The Man! He had real talent, common sense and good taste!!! A Chevy, small block!!! A 283? That double throttle rod connector is freakin AWESOME!!! So, double Holley 750's or Edelbrock? The interior is Cool as Hell!!!
That "Poser gasser" the other day with all trimmings of a street you need to show him that work of Mean Machinery and tell him, , , "That's NOT a gasser!!! THIS, , , IS A GASSER!!!!" 🤣👍😈☠️😎 HELL YEAH!!!!

Now that's badass I didn't have any uncles like that. May be a good thing. 😅

What is it? A Studeabaker with a small block Chevy?

What was the thinking behind Gassers and having the front end way up high like that? Was it just to allow for a bigger engine and higher flowing exhaust? Or was there some kind of reason for that style? Like not wanting it to wheelie or move the weight back? I never could find anything that actually made sense behind that just how they did it.
