I had to replace all of my stuff with aftermarket components in my tacoma. I had to test all wires to figure out which controlled what items and program a component to retain my steering wheel function and flatten my audio signal. I have way more tools at home as an engineer than the average person, the easy is to take it to a competent installer. Car audio fabrication did some work on the black rifle truck, so the guys that did that install are the green beans of car audio.

My 07 GX470 has the same system, its one of the ONLY negative things about the vehicle. 99% of it is phenomenal so I am willing to deal w that for now.

This is why I drive an older vehicle. I don't need this technology nor do I want it tracking me, my routines or where I go. Also electrical components have a whole source of problems eventually. Transfer case needs to be on the floor not electric button. Old school just works.
