The Mamba Mentality helped me get through medical school, residency & fellowship training. In honor & memoriam of Bean, we've dropped a series called: 'The ANATOMY of a 5-Time Champion.' Each video is 8 minutes and 24 seconds long & breaks down all the injuries Kobe battled through. If you enjoyed this video, highly recommend checking it out, link below:

I wish you touch on the the high ankle sprain injury that he suffered from the hawks game when Dahanty Jones slide under his landing spot. And Kobe didn’t recover enough from that injury and was playing 40 plus minutes a game caused this. He was burning his feet out cause he wanted to get the playoffs so bad during that year cause everything was going left with Nash & Dwight being injured as well. Team wasn’t playing well either .

Just torn my Achilles playin hoop doing a push off off my jump shot when landed. Soon as it snapped I knew it was over. I just landed a city job too now that had been put to hold. I gotta keep this mentality and stay healthy

Yup. He asked Barnes if he kicked his leg. For me I thought someone threw a ball from downcourt and it hit my foot from behind.

So cool. I wish we can hear Harrison Barnes side of the story of this incident. When Kobe asked him. In what demeanor? What he was feeling? With all these bball pros creating podcasts I see the possibility

Very good video. I just ruptured mine 3 months ago. Was hoping to see some talk about how successful he was after healing from this injury. Don't remember exactly but maybe he was never the same but I'm not looking to play in the NBA.
