NOVEMBER 2024, KYRENIA: The glorification of war and the celebration of collective punishment continue in Turkish-occupied Cyprus every Nov. 15 — the date in 1983 that Turkey's Government and its Turkish Cypriot puppets issued their Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI), dubbing Cyprus' occupied northern 37% the "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus." The "TRNC" is founded on the cold-blooded murder, expulsion and disappearing of thousands. It is recognized only by Turkey.
