I really love Emma Watson playing Belle, but Belle in the animation moves so elegant. That's what I miss in Emma Watsons performance. Still very very excited for the movie! I can't wait!

I think Emma Watson will be amazing as Belle but she's no Paige O' Hara (Voice of Belle)...Paige is the best Belle ever! Love her voice! So beautiful.

Huh. Watching this comparison makes me realize that Belle, for a person who doesn't fit in, carries herself a little too well in the original animated version. Emma Watson's portrayal better shows how out-of-place Belle is. Don't get me wrong, I'll always love the original, but I really think this new version's gonna improve areas we never thought needed improvement...until now.

I haven't seen the live action version, but based off this it looks pretty great. My only complain is how different Belle seems compared to her original character. I really don't like how these live action versions of Disney movies change the characteristics for the main character so much to please the public. I know that some of the really old movies could use some cleanups in view of the world, which I think cinderella did fairly well, but making Belle move, like a seven year old boy tbh, doesn't do anything really. This is just my opinion :)

Its nostalgia marketing 100 percent.

The animated version will always be the best, but having a live action movie is wonderful and helps to explain a lot of things that were missing in the animated or just change some things .

I think I prefer the live version!! Partially because I'm obsessed with the staged version and prefer that to the animated one. I also low-key wish that they included "Home" and "If I Can't Love Her"
