My first boyfriend outed me after I told him specifically not to. And now half of my old friends hate me because I'm bisexual. For some reason being bisexual is weird and gross.

I was so deep in the closet, I didn’t even know that there WAS a closet. If I didn’t allow myself to acknowledge having any sexual feelings at all, I could stave off the inevitable collision between my straight identity and the reality of what sorts of bodily interactions I most fantasize about. I first “made the acquaintance of my own hand” in my freshman dorm in college, took my first baby streps towards coming out in my junior year, and finally did the ol’ NSFW the spring of senior year. I’m in my 50s, been out since dinosaurs roamed the earth, but I’m still working on fully embracing my truth.

I know that pain. :( I came out too them after highschool, they dont like to hangout with me anymore. We still talk, just dont hang. An Ive made some friends along the way. An my mom already knew lmao in middle school!

I was 11 and got into a 2hr argument with my dad trying to force him to bring me to the hospital because I thought I was broken. All he said was "baby you are perfectly fine, and the neighbor girl is very cute.. do you want pasta for dinner!?"

Coming Out stories are always my favorite. So cool about ur gay uncle. I have 2 sets of fraternal twin nephews (my sis went the scientific way). So I always wonder if any of them will "be gay / come out" when they grow up. I'd be the gay uncle. how crazy is that whole idea! By then they should at least be cool with gay relatives, even if they're not.

Your s8t guy friends dumping you and having to eat lunch alone is heart breaking. That would be tough for anyone, especially for a young person in high school. But as the saying goes, it gets better. I'm ancient old but have binged watched your videos all night and into this morning. You have been such great therapy as I remembered how alone I felt all those many years ago. I didn't realize until watching your videos how those memories were still hurtful in my mind. Thank you for sharing.

I quit HS when my being gay was becoming more and more noticeable, like when I’m becoming more aware of the sexual things in life. I became a complete loner and “mysterious” as some said I was for more than a year.. then I moved to America.. none of my family knew for a while, but whenever I met new people, I would always tell them the nickname, Lance, that I decided to start using, and that I was gay af.. I mean new country, new life, you know? And I knew I’d be staying here, I might as well be truthful to myself. I was 18 then. Almost 10 years now. I’m enjoying life here, but I’ve completely lost contact with most of the people I grew up with back home, especially my school friends.
