I absolutely adored Matts performance as Anakins voice but an anakin voiced by Hayden would go so unbelievably hard

When I was little I assumed that Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen and all of the others would just naturally be cast but then I found out they were different voice actors and I was really sad

Even though he didn’t get a chance to voice him in the animation series, at least they got his appearance and then finally get a chance to play the character again later on throughout the years

Matt Lanter was a great call. I think Hayden benefitted a lot from hearing Matt's performance. He adjusted his Anakin voice to sound more like the Clone Wars, and it's greatly improved his performance

I’m honestly not 100% sure. Acting and voice acting can require a vastly different skill set. And I think Matt absolutely crushed the role! He really had Anakin’s emotional spectrum down pack from his witty and snarky moments to his more emotional scenes of anger and despair.

So yeah, I don’t know how Hayden would fair working in a different medium. But I guess we’ll never know unless they make another animated series that he’s given the opportunity to voice. Maybe they could do something with the time spent when Anakin was a teenager before episode ii through his time right before being given Ahsoka as a padawan? But then I don’t know if they’d say Hayden’s voice sounds too old/mature to voice such a young character?

I don’t really know what the solution is here. All I know is that I’m glad we got two great actors to play Anakin that made this version of him the iconic character that he is today!

Also apparently when he first met the anaking voice actor he said "thank you for keeping star wars alive"

They should have at least called him to ask if he wanted to play him, but i do love the Clone Wars voices, and how the show gives us different versions of the characters
